The route home now has been altered to avoid some predicted rainfall . So we'll be going mostly north as far as I 90 and from there , once in South Dakato, east though Minnesota, Wisconsin and over to St. Ignace Michigan. I checked out our planned stops , one of which is Murdo, South Dakota. And surprise, there is a 40 building museum there called "Pioneer Auto Museum". We may get to see a bit of this! It houses vintage cars (who would like that??) and muchos other stuff like cream separators. The first day, today, we won't be out of Texas!! It is 350 miles to Amarillo , our goal for today. The winds are supposed to be between 25 - 35 where we are headed. And interestingly enough it was 91 F here in Fort Stockton yesterday; and the predicted Amarillo temperature is a high of 79 today, dipping to 38F overnight. After Amarillo we will say goodbye to hot temps and expect daytime highs in the 50's or low 60's. Signing off travel blogs for now; see you back in Ontar-i-ar-io.
