I couldn't leave Texas without visiting Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Market. I am a huge fan of their show on HGTV called Fixer Upper and I really like the priorities that they portray on their show. I enjoy Joanna's style of decorating so it was really fun to visit the store at the Silos. The bakery also has really good muffins and cinnamon rolls. While I was downtown Waco I also visited the Dr. Pepper Museum since Waco was the birthplace of The Pepper. It was interesting as it is housed in the original bottling plant which is next door to the newer bottling plant. The Texas Rangers Hall of Fame is also located in Waco. It shows the history of the Rangers, how they were formed after the civil war and the way their purpose evolved over the years. It has an interesting film that you want to be sure and watch while you are there.

Just a short stay here then it was on to San Marcos.
