Are the kitties planning their own trip?
Claude (on left) has her tail on the "mouse" & Waverley is keeping an eye out for the humans as they check out possible destinations on Kay's computer. Where did they get the "how to pack" book?We had another long day yesterday. With apologies to George Strait, “Amarillo this mornin, down to San Antone.” We encountered much rainfall & evidence of it on the way home. We stopped in the farming community of Post, TX for lunch. I overheard one man say that he had over 10 inches of rain the day before. Wow! As we left that town, one side of the highway was impassable as water totally blocked the roadway. Got home at 6:30 last night. Home sweet home.
But you know what? It was an amazing trip. We have just spent a wonderful 2 weeks together & Kay & I are still speaking. I hope you have enjoyed our blog as we have sure had fun preparing it. And thanks to those of you who have sent in comments & messages. They have been a welcome addition to our stories. A special thank you to Yvette Tudor for taking care of our kitties while we were gone.
