Today I attended a Beto O'Rourke rally, running for Governor of the State of Texas, at Cowboy Jacks Saloon in downtown Nacogdoches. Beto was attending rally events elsewhere in East Texas. Beto's wife Amy was the speaker at the rally.

Like Beto, Amy O'Rourke is a very intelligent caring honest person. Amy spoke to us and answered questions from the attendees. Texas desperately needs Beto to finally start taking Texas into the 21st century; and securing voting rights for all Texans, including minorities. Another major issue is Beto O'Rourke will restore the God given rights to all females in Texas. Beto cares about Mother Earth, and wants a better world for our children and for future generations.

Commentary: The current governor of Texas is Ab-butt who has done nothing for Texans in eight years, except for the filthy rich. Mr. Butt gets his money from the oil and gas industry and has done nothing to upgrade our electrical grid in Texas. I wrote about the polar front with a killer ice storm two winters ago that shut down Texas electricity, drinking water, and sewage. About 700 Texans died from freezing, drinking contaminated water, and carbon monoxide poisoning from portable generators. Mr. Butt blamed his disaster on renewable energy that provides 20% to 30% of Texas energy. Yes, the large windfarms in Northern Texas failed from the weight of the ice. The electric grid shut down because the ice took out power stations and transformers that long ago should have been upgraded like done in most other states. Ab-butt has also taking away voting rights from minorities and poor people living in our cities. Mr. Butt also took away the rights of females in Texas. Things have got to change from the insane MAGA policies or we have no future in Texas.
