Made it to Killeen, Texas, home of Fort Hood, the largest military base in the contiguous US -- over 340 square miles. There are four freeway exits to get on the base. The place is huge. Much for a visitor to do, museums indoor and out and of course memorials. At any given time there can be 40 to 60,000 military and civilians on the base.

Now the real fun... spending time with the grandkids.
