Graduation Day
A proud moment for all of the family to attend. One of the positive attributes of Extreme Telecommuting is also the ability to attend significant family milestone events while continuing to work as you travel. That was the case in being able to attend our grandson's graduation in Flower Mound TX while on our way to Alaska. Please humor me with a few family pictures while also showing off some of Texas.
Our landing location was Hickory Creek Park on Lake Lewisville. We had a Corp of Engineers site backed up to Lake Lewisville. As a Senior with a Lifetime pass to all National Park facilities we were able to get the site at half price as well as get into National Parks free of charge. We got our $80 investment back in one camping visit plus one entry to our first National Park. Quite a deal for Seniors.
We attended the graduation plus High School Baseball games and found out how Texans keep cool in the Summer with elaborate wading facilities in their local park.
This particular blog is devoted to our family members. Most future ones will be more scenic oriented.
We have been so busy shooting pictures and going from place to place that
Hickory Creek Park
A great Place to stay on Lake Lewisville our blogging has lagged our travels. We hope to bring it back up to date over the next week and be more prompt in the future. You will soon see views of Palo Duro Canyon, the great South West, Pike's Peak, Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. I hope you will enjoy seeing the sites as much as we have capturing them.
