I marked something off my bucket list today. This was the 27th year for the Texas Scottish Festival & Highland Games in Arlington. I have always wanted to go but every year something would come up and I wasn't able too. This year I was able to go with my best friend, Leigh Ann.

We had a great time even though I did get more than I bargained for in the Bonniest Knees contest. I said I would be a judge when they were asking for female judges. I thought the guys would just lift their kilts and we would judge who had the best knees. Oh No that is not the way the contest worked. The judges were blinded folded and the guys wearing kilts would stand in front of you and you had to feel their knees up their kilts and then vote on who had the best knees. Even though it was embarrassing everyone had a great time.
