We had breakfast and left at 6:30am to get on the road in time to have a good 1/2 to 1 hour visit with Dan and Neva Abbott.

Saturday was going to be a busy day, as we had plans to travel and see several things

Visit with the Abbotts (friends from Wildwood Church, and worked at SAM base in Santa Cruz several years ago)Go to the Unclaimed Baggage Store in Scottsboro, ALStop by and see Jeremy Wilkerson (from First Baptist Liberty City)Connect with Barbara Philips (friend of Ron and Marsha Baker)Finally stay with Johnny and Maria Coker (co-workers in Guatemala - good good friends)We got to the Abbotts just before 8. We didn't even sit down, because we knew we would be sitting most of the day in the car.We talked about their time as Guest Host/Hostess in Bolivia. They were there after we left in 2000, so we didn't actually work together. We enjoyed reconnecting with them, and then as customary when we leave friends, we would give them our latest prayer card, a Guatemalan magnet, maybe a coaster and sometimes coffee. Glenn
we have a word of prayer. We would always take a selfie photo. That's always fun.We continued on our journey after the 1 hour visit. We decided to hit the interstate again, instead of having "Betsy" route us through the winding mountains. Good choice.
