Day 2

After being blessed with a comfortable stay in a nice Residence Inn suite,courtesy of free night from Marriott, and complementary hot breakfast, Steve wanted to find a hot rod performance parts store. Upon finding the local place in Columbus,IN, Steve was amazed to find out these gentlemen were the same ones who sold him his Tremec transmission over the internet. What an unbelievable coincidence, considering we just happened to pick Columbus as a place to stay our first night! Steve had a very nice visit with these new friends, Brad & father Keith. Keith was able to do some mechanical work Steve had wanted to do before the trip (replacing rockers). So, we got a later start, but got to Knoxville, TN, (Red Roof Inn-Strawberry Plains) in good time. We had a delicious supper at Puleo's Grill. The others from Clinton arrived later.
