We slept in a bit; we are not in a real hurry. I am working remote this week, so will be working from the road. After coffee, cereal and showers, we left Asheville around 10 am. Do you ever have those days where you just don't feel great? Not physically, but mentally. I think it's just knowing that I am leaving this area and my last week in Atlanta will be next week. And it's the not knowing what comes next. There is some excitement in that, but some stress as well. The drive was uneventful but as we got close to calling it a day, I couldn't find an RV park. We can always stay in a Walmart parking lot or a rest area if we need to. I finally found an RV park in Jackson, Tennessee called Jackson RV Park. It was just off the highway. It was mainly a trailer park with full time residents and pretty scary and run down. There was one area in the front for 'overnight parking' and that's where we were. We never 'saw' any camp host or manager-you simply put your $25 in an envelope and dropped it in a box. Ken disconnected the RV and we drove up one exit to where we saw restaurants in the way in. We found 'Cheddars'. I think it is a chain. We shared grilled chicken, rice, green beans. It was ok - not Foodie quality but you can't always have that. We went back to the RV, Ken called Uncle Don and we read for a little before going to bed. Maybe we will get an earlier start tomorrow.
