Saturday July 4th
Here we are on another adventure and this time we are heading to the Canadian Rockies! We left
Friday morning and got on the road by
ten am. We made it to coreyville Iowa and had a nice dinner at a place called thirty hops. Geez, what luck, a pub less than two minutes from our hotel! Had a nice dinner and had another stroke of luck and found a brewery five minutes away. So, we had a beer and headed back to the hotel for some rest. Day two found us heading to Spearfish SD. Long day of driving but we are listening to the Unbroken book (on tape) and keeping us captivated enough to not notice the duldrums of the drive. What a story! Anyway, we took a detour to see the Badlands and so glad we did! Each time I see this area it seems more spectacular! found our hotel inSpearfish (past a lot of Harley places but couldn't talk Janet into stopping). Spearfish is just up the road from Sturgis. Another stroke of luck and found another place that had some nice craft brews on tap called Lucky13! Headed backed to hotel for some much needed rest! Tomorrow we are in butte Montana! WLYSM
