Portland,Oregon is a nice city and we made several friends in a matter of minutes. Some strange some normal. Stayed out longer than planned but had a good time doing so.
Now back in car and driving interstate 5 again towards yet another town called Salem (not the witch town, that's in New England) we will then head west and pick up the Pacific highway 101 to take in the sights as we head to LA.Chris is doing an excellent job at driving whilst I read and blog.
Now on road to coast heading to Newport Oregon for some lunch. Seen signs for leaping deer and elk but no actual sightings of the real thing. Omg this car is so uncomfortable. It's like sitting on a park bench and my bum has gone numb.
Lots of trees & then some. Wanna see a bear. Bored with trees now.
Ok so we drive into Newport and I politely give directions to the historic beachfront but no! Chris wants to stop in some shitty makeshift car park.
