Columbia River Gorge

North America » United States » Oregon » Columbia River Gorge » Cascade Locks By Danielle and Paul
April 18th 2007 Yesterday we explored the waterfalls of Columbia Gorge, Oregon. They were awesome! Even though it was raining, we hiked to the tops. Echo even loved them. Luckily, not enough to jump in!

Today was mostly a driving day, down the Oregon coast. The rain finally let up when we reached California, but along the way the rocky coast was breathtaking with its crashing waves. We stopped at an oddity along the way: the "Prehistoric Gardens"...full of real live vicious dinosoaurs. See pictures, ye non-believers. One was about to bite, i swear.

Off to the National Redwood Forest in California when we wake up. Look forward to the photos of us with Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox!!
