It was only an hour and a half drive or so from our home. We were both still working night shift so we left early afternoon. The B&B was fairly empty when we arrived, although there was a nice dog wandering around. Eventually someone did see we had arrived and checked us in. I loved the treehouse. It had a loft overlooking our queen sized bed. So the whole thing could have comfortably slept four people. There a porch with chairs which is something we fell in love with every since Europe (we spent a memorable night in Interlaken, Switzerland, reading our books in the rain on a porch drinking wine- nostalgic memory set for life). We visited nearby Bridgeview Winery. It looked nice online and it was close so why not? We ended up having the whole place to ourselves. The porch area was very nice and we were stalked by a few swans wanting food. Not that we had any. We drank our glasses rocking on a wooden swing on the lawn, just talking and enjoying each others' company. After that, we ended up heading back to the B&B and reading our books on a hammock by the main house. Later we ate dinner in our room, drank far too much wine and watched movies on our laptop until we passed out.
