New Bern, NC to Eden, NC

On Oct 3, 2014 we loaded the car on the back of the rig and headed from New Bern NC to Eden NC. It is 220 miles. We were going to Eden to visit some of Monica's family. We saw some cool sights - farms and cattle and barns. We traveled some cool country roads. On getting into Eden - we parked the rig behind a business owned by relatives and it was cool not to have to pay for a site. We ran the generator when we wanted to run Air Conditioner or TVs. It was a fun few days in Eden. It was great to see relatives and friends. We had some good food too. One gem was having breakfast with Rose (Monica's sister) at the Railroad Cafe in Eden. It is an old time local spot and had great decor from a million years ago and cool locals and great food. See it on Yelp at:

I made my first Panini on the road and it came out great!! (The guys at work gave me an awesome panini maker when I left work and I will be eternally grateful for that great gift for the road!!) I'm attaching pic of that first panini. We stayed in Eden until the 5th of Oct and then headed west to the mountains.
