Concrete Jungle

Feet aching, noisy bin lorries at 7am and so much to do today.

Visited the iconic, and relatively small, Statue of Liberty yesterday. So much security and 377 steps for a fantastic view from the Crown, well worth it.



An early start meant we were able to also visit Times Square and the 9-11 memorial in the morning.

This city offers so much but wear comfy shoes!



A short ferry took us to Brooklyn but no pizza as Grimaldis was closed for Easter. Found a lovely Mexican bar instead.



And loads and loads of irish bars.



What a place.
