this is one crazy place, today I viewed the city from the Empire State building,the wall cladding is marble and just amazing. Did an uptown bus trip Harlem etc then back to Times Square which was heaving, and so, so, so, busy. Found solace in Bryant Park behind New York library. As I walked back I found free concert in Madison Square garden, musicians playing in a triangle about ten feet across with traffic whiz zing by and people sitting listening. At Union Square park a local farmers market and loads of people playing chess!!!! Whew!!!Fetter aching like mad!!
