. We started off to visit a museum. While taking the bus uptown, we started talking to a gal dressed as a volunteer for Central Park. She invited us to join her group on a tour of the history of Central Park. The day was lovely...so we opted to walk along the trails in the park learning about its origin. It was very interesting. We have always walked the southern end of the park, so the north end was an empty slate. We suggest that you Google Central Park. It is a beautiful place! Our guide was well informed.
For the return to NJ, we walked to the subway then walked to the New Jeresy Path( subway). We certainly have been walking! This morning we biked to the PATH and secured them with locks This made it a bit easier.
We did take videos but the TravelBlog can't handle them at this time. We will make a video and post it to YouTube.
You can search and find Bob Tait to see the videos he has made.
We are having trouble with some of the photo. They are too dark
