Today marks the day when we have been out of work for one month.
We have achieved so much in that month and have not stopped.
As the weather is so cold, we decided to go on some bus rides today.
One around downtown New York and one around uptown.
The tours are traditionally on open top buses, but they put plastic roofs on them when it is cold, but we underestimated how cold this would make the bus.
We completed the downtown tour and then had to get off to defrost. It was seriously cold.

We then decided that it would be silly to continue with the uptown tour as we were struggling to get warm without getting cold again.
We went on a short shopping trip in Times Square, but even that had to be cut short as the temperature of about -2 was just too cold to stay out for too long.
