Nov 11, 2018 (New York) - Getting ready for the long haul over to the Middle East for a short stop over before flying on to Bangladesh. It seemed like we had a lot of time planned to be on the ground, but given the tight schedule. I land at 2 am on November 11 (local) and we start meetings at 8:30 and push through the whole day. The work in Bangladesh is being coordinated through a large local NGO( BRAC). The plan calls for trips to local facilities in Dhaka, but also travel to Cox's Bazar and the large refugee camp near there. Considering local travel constraints, I'm packing only "carry on" - got it all into a small back pack! More soon!
