New York day 1

First day of our long vacation! We flew to New York this morning to visit Uncle Bob and Jim. After a short ride to Queens, we hopped into Bob's car and took of to East Hampton; a short three hour drive. Two funny things happened today. First, picking up Bob's car, we noticed a Fire bucket! And people say we're backwards in Texas... at least we have fire extinguishers!!! Second, we stopped at KFC on the way. I didn't expect to hear country music playing on the radio the whole time there; George Strait, Allen Jackson, and Toby Keith.

The drive through the Hamptons was neat, it seems quaint with lots of wineries, antique shops and clothing stores.
