Our excitement for our trip has been dulled by the news that our ship, Oceania’s Insignia, had a fire in their engine room which caused the death of 3 crew people on December 11th. This in turn caused the cancelation of the current cruise and another one scheduled before ours. Of course, the priority is for the families of the deceased and the return home of the passengers who had to be evacuated. We just don’t know at this point what our status is in relation to the planned cruise. We will wait and see…
