Lieverts, we kunnen ons dat zo indenken, lekker relexet en genietend van de vrijheid. Wij zouden zo naast jullie willen komen zitten. Maar dat gaat nu helemaal niet omdat ik geveld ben door Gordelroos wat je krijgt wanneer je de 60 ben gepasseerd. Een verlaat waterpokkenvirus, enfin daar komen we ook wel weer door heen. Wij vroegen ons af hoe hoog de temperatuur bij jullie is? Sorry, Dari dat ik geen engels schrijf, noem het maar luiheid. Nu luidjes tot de volgende keer en we houden van jullie. xxxPa

Hey Joost and Dari, we(I) read with pleasure your diary from your trip through NY. Very nice to see the pictures. How you enjoy. We are very happy for you both. Wil je nog weten hoe het hier gaat? We hebben een paar mooie dagen gehad wat het weer betreft. Ik zag dat het in NY erg koud was. En hoe is het in Chicago? The same i guess. Met mij , ma, alles goed, maar pa heeft al een paar weken "gordelroos". Ik weet niet of je weet wat dat is, maar het is een uitslag alsof het de waterpokken zijn en het is erg pijnlijk. Hij is erg moe en rust dus veel. Het is nu aan de beterende hand. Dears, have a very nice time in Chicago. And we read more later i think. We love you guys!!!!!XX
