Spent four days in Santa Fe -- hiking, wandering the art galleries, and generally enjoying the high altitude. We can definitely recommend:

Strolling the Plaza, and laughing at the over-priced clothes in the boutiques;
Wandering Canyon Road, browsing through the art galleries;
Bandelier Nat'l Monument -- worth the drive -- we loved the hike to the Falls;
Tsankawi Ruins (on the way to Bandelier) were interesting, and a lovely hike;
10,000 Waves Japanese Spa -- the pools are perfect after a long day;
Gabriel's guacamole;
Wonderful antique map dealer near the main plaza -- great selection and very informative.
