Ah, nice to be back in Santa Fe where we can use our favorite "limo" service, the city bus. Because I was in my "boot" we drove the car to the bus terminal where we could catch the bus to various places around the city. We buy a senior month pass and really get a lot of use out of it. Other days we will just drive to our local bus stop but this day we went to the terminal because we wanted to cheer a friend off in the "Race for the Cure" that was happening at the park right next door.
Cheers to all that were involved and then we walked over to the Health Van that was parked there and they did a brief health check, blood pressure, cholesterol, oxygen etc. Had a nice visit with the guy running the place and then went and caught the bus for downtown.
Spent some time walking around the plaza enjoying the beautiful day. There were lots of people out enjoying the sunshine, street musicians and children running around.
