Sometimes you gotta get wet to get a picture Without a doubt will be the shortest entry I have probably ever written. We were "forced" to drive through New Hampshire on our way to Quebec City. Just a long weekend trip so we left our home base fairly late in the afternoon and made JACKSON, NH our destination for the night. We were able to get a room at the WENTWORTH RESORT HOTEL. Older hotel that is crazy busy during the winter apparently. Our room was huge (several rooms). We got up pretty early the next morning for a breakfast of crème brulee French toast with bacon and maple syrup and an omelet with potatoes, a blueberry muffin and fruit (all really good). We were going to golf, but it was rainy so we decided to hit the road. Right in front of the hotel is a fairly decent sized WATERFALL. There is what is considered the lower and upper falls. The lower falls gives you a pretty good view of all the water running down. The upper falls not so much, but still really pretty. We jumped from rock to rock and over puddles to try and get the best pictures. At times it meant getting wet or standing

A legend in town in knee deep water while it was pretty cold outside. All worth it at the end of the day. Leaving town you drive through this beautiful RED COVERED BRIDGE on your way out. We love seeing these and taking pictures.
The rest of New Hampshire was really pretty as we made our way up to the Canadian border. Waterfalls, streams, deer, and all sorts of wildlife greet you on the road. Definitely will make our way back here for a long weekend at some point in time.

- it's a pretty area
Dislikes - none really
And that is New Hampshire. Another one in the books. Just a drive-through, but well worth it. Crossed 1 thing off of the list - Jackson. So 266 down and 5,515 to go. Getting there one at a time.
'Til next time from a state yet to be discovered properly
