We checked out of our hotel on Fremont St at 11am and caught a bus to the Stratosphere Tower where we were staying for the next 3 nights. Luckily the bus was pretty empty so we managed with our massive packs on it. The Stratosphere Hotel was amazing for only $17 a night we had massive pool area,a gym,rides on the roof,and really comfortable queen beds. Very cool! We set out to explore the main end of the Strip after we checked in and had lunch. We walked a really long way and had a look at alot of the cool things on the strip like MnM world, the coca cola shop, which was 4 storeys, and heaps of the hotels and casinos. We both really liked the New York New York hotel which looked like a mini New York City from the outside. The Flamingo hotel had an outdoor area with flamingos and the MGM Grand had a lion enclosure in the middle of it! By the time we got back at night our feet were very sore and we still had alot left that we wanted to see over the next few days but we felt like we had
done a pretty good job so far
