I left the house about 8:30 a.m., dropped some mail off at the post office, got $100 from an ATM, and drove the del Sol to the Memphis Airport where I parked in a lot and got to the terminal about FOUR FREAKING HOURS early.
I got through the TSA screening without being groped and spent the time reading Colby Buzzell's Lost in America. We finally got off the ground about 30 minutes late, but landed in Las Vegas on time.
Steve and Lisa were there to meet me at baggage carousel #7. We dined at a deluxe burger place and hung out at Steve's house.
We stopped at a liquor store on the way home and Steve put some money into a poker machine, winning $270. Ahh, Las Vegas.
