Indian TributeIndian TributeIndian Tribute

This area was established to recognize the Indians who also died when they stood up for there land.
Decided to retreat west and see the Little Bighorn Battlefield Nat'l Monument. Took a few pictures, listened to two lectures, and watched a film. The battlefield is out in the country and there is not much excitement around the area, but we got to see it and get a feel for what happened. The visitors center is rather small with a few artifacts. They had a fire in the area a couple of years ago and what may have been devastating turned out to be a benefit, as suddenly they found bones and other things that gave more insight to what had taken place. Digs are still going on today and more artifacts are showing up with each dig. Just a few photos to show. A quick blog today.
