Greetings from wet and humid Minnesota. We arrived here in Walker, MN on Sunday after traveling through Fargo ND and the backroads of MN. The scenery was beautiful as it is very green and wooded. It is a 2 lane road that we are traveling so the pace is slow but hey, who's in a hurry right? On Monday we drove around the town of Walker which is located on Leech Lake, the 7th largest lake in MN, and is mostly a resort town that has many golf courses and great fishing. We decided to drive to Bemidji, which is about 25 miles southwest of here to see what that town had to offer. It is a moderately sized town and it is located on a lake also.
