The drive from Tourist Park Campground in Marquette MI to the City of Hancock Recreational Area in Hancock MI on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 took about two hours and was totally uneventful. The space I was assigned in the RV park was adequate, but the road was narrow and tree-lined which made backing into the space a challenge. I'm a retired firefighter who, after my January 2009 divorce, decided to become a fulltime RVer so I could see the USA. Since the beginning of "The Great Adventure" in March 2010, I have seen most of the attractions on my American bucket list, save attractions isolated in massive urban areas such as New York City or San Francisco where convenient RV parks are virtually non-existent. The last ten years have been phenomenal and have allowed me to spend at least one week in all fifty states, but the time came for Phase 2 of The Great Adventure. Columet to Silver City
A fine account of some fascinating history in Michigan. Columet provided more than one immigrant to Silver City, NM. They knew copper and hated the cold.
