Today was our last day in Boston, so we decided to go slightly out of town and visit Harvard University. We caught the T (Boston's metro system) to Harvard Station. It is a very pretty university and we really enjoyed walking around it. There were guided tours, but we got some brochures from the tourist office and did our own tour. Today was not as windy as yesterday, so the cold didn't feel quite so bad.
After looking around Harvard, we headed to the local shopping area and had Croque Monsieurs for lunch at Tory Row, a "gastro pub" in Harvard Square.
We caught the T back to Boston and then visited the beautiful Boston Public Library. We walked past Trinity Church and back towards Boston Common for a bit of a wander around the Beacon Hill area before calling into the other Cheers Bar in Boston for a predinner drink.
Dinner was in our hotel restaurant that evening, before we headed up for cocktails at the Top of the Hub to say goodbye to Boston. While we were looking at the lights out of the windows, it suddenly started to snow! S and J had never seen snow before,
