fenway park We kicked off our long day of walking by starting at the famous home of the Boston red Sox, Fenway Park. Since there wasn't a game being played there that day we were able to park on the street for the entire day free of charge. After walking around the stadium we headed off to the Prudential Tower. On the way we passed a firehouse which the architecture was amazing and also snagged a picture next to a Ferrari on the street. The views from the top of the tower were exquisite as the weather that day was perfect.
Next stop on our journey was the Trinity Church. Unfortunately due to a wedding we were unable to go inside and experience the beauty of it but we did get some pretty awesome pictures from outside. After we admired the craftsmanship of the church from the outside we decided to take a stroll through the Public Garden.
After the stroll through the park we made a pit stop at the famous show Cheers before proceeding to Boston Commons. It was a gorgeous day out so a lot of people were out walking in the park, playing Frisbee or just laying

crystal and i on yawkey way next to the stadium around on a blanket relaxing.
Since we still had plenty of daylight left we opted to start on the Freedom Trail. We would have to go back the next day to get into some things as they were closed at this time of day but nonetheless we conquered a good portion of it. Along the way we grabbed some drinks at Boston's oldest bar the Bell In Hand Tavern. After all the walking and some icy cold beverages we hit up the North End and grabbed a bite to eat. With so many Italian restaurants to choose from we picked Piccola Venezia, the one that had a menu full of similar items we experienced while in Venice earlier this year. We did manage to save room for some gelato after dinner even if it meant taking a doggy bag home. :-) We then hopped the T train to the closest stop by Fenway and headed home for the night to get a early start for the next day.
