Modern Day Philosopher

I think an example of a modern day philosopher would be President Obama. I believe that he is a modern day philosopher that has/ will enlighten the world because has impacted modern day society in many positive ways. One way that he has impacted the world is because he was the first African American president in the history of the United States. I think this enlightens the world because it can influence other African Americans or other races that are not that involved with politics to get involved and they can do anything. Also President Obama is stopping the war that is going on in Iraq. I think that this enlightens the world because people he stopped something that has been going on for a long time that has affected many people. President Obama also made Obama care which is health care that is suppose to be affordable for everybody. This enlightens the world because he is making health care more affordable for people that would not necessarily be able to afford it.
