Stop 24: Home

Driving home the next morning was bizarre to say the least. It was weird seeing signs for MD and then actually recognizing the landscapes around us. We tried to imagine what we'd think of Olney if it had been just another stop on our trip, but it's too hard to make unbiased decisions about a place when you've lived there all your life.

All in all, Brian and I had an amazing time. In five weeks we saw how huge, diverse, and beautiful this country is; we visited family; we indulged in all the food specialties of each region; and we did all that with only one fight! (I know you’ve all been dying to know, don’t deny it!)

Practically all the places we visited were enchanting for their own unique aspects, and we would highly recommend anyone who has the opportunity to follow in our footsteps, drop everything, and drive across country.
