Our coach picked us up at 9am, just in case there was traffic (we needed to be there by 11am for our 1pm flight). Traffic was light, and we were at the airport, checked in, and through security by 10:30am. Everything went very smoothly - but now for a long wait at the airport. But the airport was nice with lots of shops, so the time went fast. Our departure was delayed about 45 minutes because of a glitch with the entertainment system - you can watch on-demand movies or tv on a screen at each seat. So we arrived close to an hour late, but customs and getting our bags was easy. No horror stories to tell.
We had a great time and saw amazing things, but we are glad to be back. I hope everyone had fun with the blog - it was fun doing it, and now we have something to look back on to remember our trip to the UK. Thanks for the comments and messages that people wrote.
