Alex, displeased with his throwAlex, displeased with his throwAlex, displeased with his throw

We were literally within a stone's throw of the lake, so Alex spent his free time throwing stones. The water was pretty high when we were there, as evidenced by the tree.

We reserved a camp site in advance through the reserveamerica.com web site. It was pretty easy to use. We were able to see which camp sites were currently reserved and which were open so that we could judge what kind of position we would have relative to the lake, the bathroom and other campers. It works much like an airline seat selection map. We got something near the water and near, but not too near, the bathrooms. I have an annual passport to the national parks, so the cost was only $11/night: bargain!

I was able to maneuver into the space pretty easily and got shop set up quickly. There was a nice picnic table and grated fire pit at each site and we made use of the electric and water hookups as well.
