Trying to get out of here!!

Rattling around the house..

Here we are, it is a Saturday night 2 to 3 weeks after we quit our jobs...

We have packed up one set of boxes and driven them to San Antonio, Texas to be packed into a container (left) along with a 1971 Chevrolet step sided pick-up that Maria's brother is shipping to Australia.

Packed a second set of boxes that we loaded into a "big" truck and drove to Manhattan, Kansas to put into a storage unit close to Carl's parents.

Met with real estate agents about selling the house only to find out they think it will be easier to sell the house if we replace the deck, get rid of the cheezy 80's wallpaper in the kitchen and resign ourselves to potentially have to pay closing costs on the house.

Somehow we don't feel any closer to getting out of here than we did before we started!!
