Two representatives of our district RITE (Rotary Intercountry Teacher Exchange and YEES (Youth Exchange Spanish English) visited this week. Representing RITE was Marissa Quiroz and YEES Edgar Quintero. Both are from David, Chiriqui, Republic of Panama. Marissa was a 24 year old English Teacher who came to our district to study the methodology of teaching a foreign language. She was impressed with the Kansas teachers who had traveled to David last summer and she came to learn more. She spent three weeks in the Wichita area attending classes in the Wichita schools and Wichita State. She also was filled with the American cultural experience. Edgar Quintero is a 17-year-old student who won a scholarship by the David Rotary Club to come to Kansas and improve his English skills and also get the cultural experience. Both Marissa
