HIGHPOINTING

One of the things we are trying to do as we travel, is climb the highest point in every state. On our
way west, in Kansas, we got to Mt Sunflower(4,039) . In Colorado, we tried to climb Mt. Elbert, (14,433) but did not make it all the way, we did about 12,000 feet. Picture are located in OUR GALLEY “It is the journey, not the destination.”
In New Mexico we drove to Mt. Wheeler (13,161), the highpoint, but due to lots of snow we viewed it from afar.

We did climb Black Mesa (4,973) in OK and the highpoint in Missouri, Taum Sauk Mt (1,772 ft. We also got to the highpoint in Indiana, Hoosier Highpoint ( 1,257 ft)
