Had some tears this morning saying goodbye to our dog, Kirby. He has very little time left, so it will probably be the last time I see him. Didn't leave quit as early as we had hoped (my fault) but we were on the road by 6:50 or so. Originally we had planned on driving to St. Louis and calling it a day, but both of us really want to see Nashville so we drove a little farther. 12 HOURS LATER........ and we're only in Illinois! Doesn't quit seem right... but we went through Iowa and Missouri to get here so we must have gone far.
