In my opinion, the U.S. government should still keep true promises it made in Native American treaties. The fact that their lands were taken away the U.S. government should at least keep the promise made. Also, there is still many Native Americans now, so they should get what was promised. It was an agreement that the Natives gave to the U.S., and they trusted in the U.S. Still today it is an effect between both treaties because Native American nations remain independent. They have control over their natural resources, so they should be provided the help they need. For example, providing for their health, giving education, and giving their people general welfare. In my opinion that makes sense because their lands are being taken away, so they should be provided with help.
