Family, Friends, and Parents of Student Travelers -
Tomorrow we depart for Costa Rica! Sean and I are very excited to make this first trip to Central America, especially after almost 2 years of preparation for this vacation. The students have worked extremely hard throughout the last school year to raise funds for the trip (we sold a LOT of pizza!), and we're all eager to finally set foot upon Costa Rican soil. Our flight departs Boise tomorrow at 6:30 AM (meaning we'll have to be at the airport at the very early hour of 4:30!). From here, we'll fly to Salt Lake, then to Atlanta, and then into San Jose, Costa Rica, landing at about 8 PM. There is no time change for us (meaning no jet lag--yay!), so we'll enjoy dinner upon arriving at the hotel, followed by a good night's sleep. Then on Saturday, the fun sightseeing begins.
