Today we toured the Island on a big tour bus! Cousin James, our bus driver and tour guide, was awesome. He was so helpful, funny, sometimes even corny, very informative (historically & otherwise), and passionate about his Hawaiian roots. He transformed a bus load of strangers into a Hawaiian Family looking out for each other. We loved his commentaries and sound advice!! Highlights: Pali lookout, North Shore Beaches, great diversity of vesgetation from one side of the island to the other, fresh shrimp ponds, Dole Pineapple Plantation, Macadamia Farm (yummy samples), Coffee Fields, the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles at Laniaeka Beach and the beautiful Polynesian Cultural Centre.
