The morning was spent doing work, but it was very productive. Around 11am, we met Jean at the Coffee Shack in Captain Cook, which is a cute house along the road, with a great view of the sea. Brekkies were tasty, too. Then we drove down to the City of Refuge, which is always such a lovely, tranquil place. From there, we said good-bye to Jean and then drove to a coffee place, where I was a little spendy. Nevermind. Groceries next. Then, we started the drive south, through the various terrains. It was pouring rain near Captain Cook, and was cool and windy when we stopped to look at the lava flows. We drove down to South Point, to see it. Arrived late to the condos, had a little difficulty with the key, but all was resolved without too much delay. Made dinner, then do bed.
