On the first day we drove to these falls, went to the store, then went back and napped. (Jetlagged!)
Welp, I've tied the knot, off the market, took the plunge, this stallion has been brought into the stable.

Haha all idioms aside, we've just returned from a marvelous honeymoon in Hawaii. We stayed on the island of Kauai, which is the oldest, most rural, and some say the most beautiful of the islands. It was incredibly relaxing.

We went all out, spending our wedding gifts to make it a truly luxurious getaway. We sped around the island in a Mustang Convertible, ate plenty of seafood and steak, and went on an adventure or two.

For me, the highlight of the trip included a 8-mile round trip hike to a beautiful waterfall. There, I took an exhilarating plunge in a large, ice-cold swimming hole. On the way back, we were caught in a downpour which made for a pretty challenging journey back, including some night-hiking after the sun had set.

Though Allie wasn't too thrilled about that part, I thought it was a great challenge for us to endure together. Anybody who knows me is probably not surprised our honeymoon included an adventure such as this!

Along the way, we met some fellow honeymooners, and ended up hiking and chatting together for a few hours.
