Peace River Camping

"So, first we had a very long drive to get to our campsite. We went with the Schroeders. Trinity and I where laughing all the way there. when we got there we meet our camping neighbors and we even got to sit by their fire.

The next day we went to the pioneer restaurant. It was very good food. Then we went to find shark teeth. We had to get a shovel and this thing that takes the dirt that we scoop with the shovel away on the river. There was a bunch of rocks and shark teeth. The water was very cold but not deep where we went. And also, you can get shark teeth with just digging with your hands right near the shore. The shark teeth had a very weird looking gum and usually black. A boy named Avry, who was our neighbor, showed us how to do it. My dad was very good at the shovel. We got about 17 shark teeth.

Then our neighbors showed a path through the forest and showed us their fort. It was very cool and creative. We went inside a couple

of times and chilled in the cold. Then we went to play "pingaball" (We really do not know what it was called but it was a mix of tennis and ping pong). Then we went golfing. It was good because there weren't any other people.

Finally, Luna (I call her Lunacorn) came with Sean. We had an amazing dinner. It wasn't exactly camplike because we had like potatoes, corn, beans, steak. It was very good though. My favorite was the baked beans. For dessert we had smores, of course, it is camping. That night was very, very cold. So I snuggle with my stuffed animal, named smoothie who was fluffy and furry. I slept good.

Then next day, we roasted donuts for breakfast. It was very weird, but very good. We also actually made a fort all by ourselves. It was a cool fort. Next we for more shark teeth because Luna did not do it the first time. We go more shark teeth. She liked it very much like Trinity and I did. We saw an alligator on the way back to our campsite.

to pack up. sniffle sniffle. I did not want to go but we had to. Before we left, we played marco polo and I crashed into some plants and go little things stuck in my hair. But then Luna and Trinity pulled them out.

We then went for the car ride home. It was faster than I thought. We had a good lunch at a restaurant. Luna scared me at that restaurant. In the care, Trinity went to sleep and Luna and I were laughing. It was an amazing trip." - Sofia

Great weekend with Sofia and friends. Cannot wait for our next trip at the end of March. Back to Italy as Sofia is "home sick" and going to take her to one of my favorite countries -Slovenia. Also taking Vitor, who has not been there since we left in 2005..... - Dad
