As you probably know, the space shuttle launch was scrubbed on Friday afternoon, postponed for at least 48 hours. We’ve been hanging around Titusville Marina waiting for this morning’s press conference to find out the new launch date. We just found out that it won’t be before the end of the week and they are flying the astronauts back to Houston for more training.

We did make some new friends here, Lynda and Mark Smith from Charleston. We’ve had a great time with them, talking boats and sharing experiences.

So now we are getting ready to head out. Kerry is filling the water tanks and I thought I’d post a quick blog to bring you up to date.

We’ll probably go to Dragon Point again and anchor for the night before going on south tomorrow, toward Port St. Lucie and Lake Okeechobee.

We don’t have any launch pictures to share, but we did get a manatee to pose for us.

More later…
