Kerstin, Seamus, and Meriam chilling out at Cindy's place.
Bulls and Bottle Rockets! The good news is I haven't had a nightmare with a bull goring me in it in several days...the bad news its only because I haven't slept since last Thursday! Anyone who has traveled knows how time is slipping by now very quickly, with the last few days filling up fast with the chaos of work (love the new job at SunView Software, a great group of guys!), saying hello again and goodbye for awhile to friends, while planning and packing for a week in Spain -it's all part of the excitement of a true adventure.

Spent the 4th of July working, and studying, enough to let myself celebrate a little and catch up with friends before heading over the pond to Espanol. The four day weekend brought my own version of Nacho Libre including a happy hour at 4 Green Fields, the beaches at St. Pete and Clearwater, saw Meryl Streep rock in The Devil Wears Prada, and Randy C. had a mellow (and muggy! but great Pork, dude!) bbq to honor our soon to be Dad, Bobbi Luv, for his birthday (guys don't care how old we are so I didn't ask). And that was

Having a great time till we found out Germany lost to Italy in the Cup! Sheit!
all a warm up for yesterday, the 4th of July! Started with an appetizer of cool pool water, the World Cup match and lots of laughs at Cindy T's place. The infamous Stuart S. had another soire at his showroom/condo on Bayshore (with parking!) and we all got to catch up with before heading over to Channelside for the explosions! Seems our local welder, artist, and krewe member, Dominik of Rustic Steel decided to blow away the professional competition and provide his own fireworks display! He police-taped off his own parking lot, fork-lifted pallet after pallet after pallet of fireworks and looked like a kid on Christmas morning as he and the welding elves lit em' up!! While the smoke was still drifting over the new twin towers at Channelside, Dominik started his own war zone and for a solid hour it looked like Apacolypse Now in the middle of the district. You would be amazed at the damage to your eyes and ears you can do for $14,000.00!!! It was thrilling and mesmerizing and so loud I saw grown men covering their ears, and laughing! It was by far the best and most enjoyable hour of explosive entertainment I've ever

The Dean Martin of Bayshore doing what he does best - entertaining!!
seen! The pictures don't do it justice, trust me, it was more than a worthy tribute and kick-ass competition - it was the best up close and personal fireworks show ever! Thanks, Dominik!!

One more day and another party tomorrow evening as we get toasted and kicked out of the country! The Goring Away Party is tomorrow evening at the Rack (get it, the Rack, bulls,..?? get it!) and we're hoping anybody who is reading this will drop by and help make sure we're both on the plane so you can live vicariously through us for another week! Seriously. Drop by, I'll buy you a bullshot!! Ole!!!
