February 22, Sunday We packed up camp and drove to Siesta Key for a para-sail. Deb agreed to ride on the boat, but didn't want to go airborne. The ride out took about 45 minutes, and the day was perfect, no chop on the water, very little breeze. A trio took the first flight, and just as they got out about 100 ft off the boat, Deb announced that she wanted to go with me. Yeah ! Our turn came, and aloft we went, with the crew letting out about 1100 ft of cable, which put us up almost 900 ft asl ( above sea level ).
